We are looking for a Corporate Digital and Social Media Manager responsible for the day-to-day management and development of Kingfisher's social media channels and corporate website. The role sits within the corporate affairs function, which helps grow and protect Kingfisher's reputation. The team is responsible for all aspects of Kingfisher's external communications, from corporate campaigns to financial communications and issues management.
What's the job?
* Continue to develop and grow Kingfisher's social media presence (primarily focused on LinkedIn) and corporate website, working with the external communications officer.
* Create compelling and creative written, video, and graphic content to engage a range of corporate audiences.
* Lead a programme to support and encourage leaders to be advocates for Kingfisher on LinkedIn, providing training, coaching and drafting support as needed.
* Work with business functions, social media teams, and PR teams across the business to maintain the social media content calendar.
* Maintain the relationship with social media and website agencies, ensuring they deliver a high quality and value for money service.
* Develop our measurement framework to track and benchmark the impact of our social and digital channels.
What you'll bring
* Excellent writing and copy-editing skills and attention to detail.
* Experience using design and video editing software platforms such as CapCut, Adobe Premier Pro, Canva, and/or Adobe Photoshop.
* Experience in creating social media content for corporate audiences.
* Ability to disseminate sophisticated business information into compelling and easy-to-understand messages.
* Strong project management skills.
* Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability across different business cultures.
