We are seeking passionate and experienced veterinary professionals to join a leading further education provider as a Veterinary Industry Skills Coach or Veterinary Nursing Lecturer. These part-time roles offer the opportunity to share your expertise with students, guiding them toward successful careers in the veterinary industry.
We have two fantastic opportunities available:
Veterinary Industry Skills Coach
Deliver veterinary apprenticeships, diplomas, and competency-based qualifications (up to Level 3).
Assess students against awarding body guidelines and conduct employer visits.
Guide students through progress reviews and ensure high-quality workplace learning. Requirements:
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with at least 3 years of industry experience.
Experience as a clinical coach or in apprenticeship training is highly desirable.
Must have a full UK driving licence and own vehicle for student visits.
Willingness to work towards an assessor qualification (A1/CAVA) or teaching qualification.
Hours & Salary:
22.2 hours per week (part-time).
Pro-rata salary: £20,092.20 - £21,633.60 per annum.
38 days holiday per year (pro-rata) + access to the Teachers' Pension Scheme.
Veterinary Nursing Lecturer
Teach veterinary nursing students across both theory and practical sessions.
Contribute to curriculum development in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility.
Support students with coursework, assessments, and practical skills.
Requirements:
Degree in Veterinary Nursing, Veterinary Science, or equivalent qualification.
Relevant experience working as a Veterinary Nurse.
Passion for education and a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification.
Hours & Salary:
22.2 hours per week (part-time).
Pro-rata salary: £20,092.20 - £23,964.60 per annum.
44 days holiday per year (pro-rata) + Christmas closure + Teachers' Pension (28.68% employer contribution).
