Commissioning and Service Manager
Location: Nottingham
Type: Office Based
The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Commissioning and Service Manager to join an organisation based near Nottingham on a permanent basis.
Scope of Role
1. Installation and commissioning of bulk materials handling systems.
2. Ability to set up a safe working environment with Health & Safety controls and act as principal contractor on large installations.
3. Able to manage sub-contract / 3rd party labour in their installations.
4. Prepare training documentation and present customer/end user training.
5. Day-to-day management of assigned commissioning engineers.
6. Emergency call-out work to attend site or via remote connection, telephone, e-mail.
Essential Criteria
1. Apprenticeship / HND or degree.
2. Experience of installation and commissioning of equipment in an industrial environment.
3. Experience in industry holding a supervisory position.
4. Willingness to work prolonged periods away for customer projects.
