Within this role, you will be supporting identified students both inside and outside the classroom to ensure their safety and access to learning. This role is ASAP start for the full academic year!
As a Secondary Learning Support Assistant, you will be working alongside Teachers and support staff to assist in the development of resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies to utilise in dedicated 1:1 and group support sessions alongside identified students learning needs. In this role, you will actively break down the barriers to learning, as you assess pupil progression regularly and continuously tailor the way you deliver the curriculum to suit their needs. This role will involve supporting SEN (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc) students also, spending time with them to assess the best way to help them take in the curriculum and continue to grow as individuals.
This role is great for those who may be looking to gain valuable experience towards their future career aspirations. (Educational Psychologist, Therapist, Counsellor, Youth Worker etc)

Secondary Learning Support Assistant
Working with students across KS3 & KS4
Leading 1:1 and group support sessions for SEN pupils (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)
Leasing with Teachers, SENCO and SLT regarding identified students
Assisting with preparing and creating resources for sessions
ASAP Start - Full-time position
£105 - £110 per day - Term time only
