Based across three academies, the scope of this role includes both operational and strategic HR responsibilities. When you initially join, your workload will involve learning about the Trust to take initiative and charge of ER cases. Once you have established your system, managed, and resolved the cases, you will be tasked with reviewing the existing policies and procedures of the Trust. During this phase, you will demonstrate your competence in creating policies in line with appropriate governing bodies to establish the expected standard of staff. You’ll be driven to lead the HR functions in alignment with the school's values. You will be leading the full portfolio of HR services. If you are an HR Generalist with CIPD Level 5 or above, your day-to-day responsibilities at Stephenson will encompass all HR functions. Through the development of new policies and collaboration with the CEO, you will ensure that training is rolled out as part of the Trust’s professional development for all staff. You will be leading an HR Assistant, collaborating with other members of the SLT, and providing comprehensive reports to stakeholders. As an integral leader, your ability to build relationships within the Stephenson community is vital. Working within a school environment, you will become proficient in the Green and Burgundy books to run efficient teacher recruitment campaigns, onboard new staff, and review existing contracts. You’ll have a clear and concise understanding of all safeguarding procedures. You will oversee all monitoring protocols in line with statutory and local requirements across all schools.
