Growing2gether is recruiting an innovative and entrepreneurial Community Programme and Partnerships Manager who is passionate about young people. This post is open to a creative approach; to stand beside young people whilst they assess the needs of their local community and design and deliver community projects.
Growing2gether believes in the potential of young people to shape the world around them and achieve transformational change. Through the development and implementation of a participation strategy, this post will create a larger platform to ensure the youth voice cannot be ignored.

Craigsfarm Community Development Project Ltd is a community hub serving the Craigshill and neighbouring communities. We deliver services and facilities that bring social benefit to the community. Central to our work is our pioneering Community Based Mental Wellbeing Programme supporting over 650 people experiencing mental distress.
Craigsfarm Community Café is central to our work. The cafe provides healthy eating options at low cost, as well as a range of other community benefits such as reduced social isolation, skills development and increased local spending.
Our café is central to the life of the community we serve, providing a social meeting point and can often be the conduit through which a range of services are accessed.
Any profits we generate enables us to enhance the services to the community we support.
We are currently recruiting a Cook to join our passionate, hard-working and friendly team, to create delicious meals and snacks for our customers. In joining us, you’ll also become part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside other team members who seek to provide care, warmth and kindness to all those who use our community cafe and hub. You will also be working and training our volunteers, some with special needs to assist you in your role.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A passion for contributing positively to the community
* A background in catering
* Food safety and hygiene certificate
* Knowledge and understanding of food allergies, safe food storage
* Proven ability to deliver high standards of food and presentation
* An ability to work independently and as part of a team
* An aptitude to working well under pressure
* An ability to organise and prioritise tasks and manage own workload
We are primarily seeking a person with a strong policy and legal understanding in Human Rights and extensive experience in how this can be applied in policy and practice within organisations in a supporting context, particularly through a race equality lens. The person will therefore also need to have a high level of knowledge, experience and understanding in race equality and how this can be implemented within organisations in policy and practice.
The role will involve working within a small team to provide human rights and race equality consultancy support to public and third sector organisations which include the design and delivery of human rights & race equality training. The role will also involve working within the team to help facilitate policy engagement between mainstream organisations and ethnic minority communities.
As a Human Rights and Race Equality specialist, the person will also sit on high level policy tables to influence and input into national policies and strategies.
Western Isles Rape Crisis Centre is looking to recruit an experienced support worker to join our team. The overall aim of the post is to provide one-to-one support to survivors of sexual violence.
For this role we are open to discussing the possibility of reduced hours, flexible start and finish times, or compressed hours.
A clean driving licence and use of own car is essential to this post.
