Pulse have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist (Respiratory Medicine), who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Lincoln which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist, you will beworking in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service.

Your main responsibilities as a Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist:
11. Provide specialist clinical pharmacist support to a designated Speciality and support to other wards and departments as appropriate
12. Provide pharmaceutical advice and financial information to nursing, medical and administrative staff for the Medical Directorate
13. Manage and supervise the work of pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacists and technicians working for the Medical Directorate
14. Work with the Pharmacy Education and Training Team in developing and delivering clinical training programmes on medicines in Medicine
15. Provide professional support for Medicines Information as required3. Provide professional supervision in the Dispensary as required
What we are looking for in a Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist:
16. Pharmacy degree (Master/Batchelor)
17. Registration as a Pharmacist with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
18. Postgraduate Clinical Diploma and/or equivalent experience
19. Some Supervisory experience
20. Prescriber qualification
