Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is a 130 bedroom hotel established in 2020. Situated on the doorstep of Inverness Airport, we aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed throughout the bar/bistro, one meeting room and a gymnasium. Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is managed by Lighthouse Hotel Management, which is the operational arm of the Molo Hotel Group.
Job Description:
As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the F&B team, delivering the highest quality of service and providing an exceptional experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Guest Engagement: You will lead a team of enthusiastic and approachable individuals, inspiring them to provide outstanding service with a smile. No query or problem too big or small, your team will take pride in making every guests experience exceptional throughout the bar, restaurant and meeting areas.
Supervision and Training: You will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and adjacent areas, guiding and mentoring the F&B team to deliver extraordinary service. Sharing your knowledge and expertise, you'll provide ongoing training to ensure our team is equipped with the Health, Safety and Hygiene skills needed to create magical experiences for our guests.
Collaboration: You'll collaborate closely with various inhouse teams, including kitchen, reception, and reservations, to ensure seamless guest experiences. Your excellent teamwork skills will foster a harmonious work environment, where everyone works together to create an exceptional stay for our guests.
Compliance: In line with legislation and the hotels policies and procedures, you will understand, implement and deliver the highest standards of legal compliance to your team with regards to food safety, food hygiene and food allergens. Limiting possible cross contamination and risk to our staff and guests catering to all cuisine needs and wants.
Requirements
Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
Have a positive "can do" attitude and show a desire to guide this throughout the team
A passion for delivering exceptional guest service with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as our hotel operates 24/7.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Additional language proficiency is a bonus.
