CYPL Grade 10 - 11 Casual Rate: £22.44 - £26.56 per hour
Hourly rate is dependant on your experience and qualifications. You will be paid in arrears on a claims basis for the hours you worked.
As a Casual Bank Children's Social Worker you will be offered tasks on an adhoc basis such as (but not limited to):
1. Parent Assess
2. Together or apart assessments
3. MASH enquiries
4. Emergency Duty Team
5. Needs assessments of adopted children & those subject to SGOs
6. Completion of s7 and s37 reports
7. In / Out of county visits
8. Fostering / Adopter Assessments
9. Viability Assessments
Experience and Skills
Before you begin working as part of our Casual Bank, it’s important we ensure you have the right knowledge and skills. You will be asked to provide evidence of qualifications gained during Interview.
Qualifications and/or experience:
10. Post graduate professional qualification relevant to the professional service specialism (such as CQSW/CSS/DipSW or BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent and PQSW);
11. Significant and broad experience demonstrating applied application of the above levels of knowledge in a relevant setting.
12. Relevant chartered status of a professional body or equivalent high-level experience of involved practices.
13. Registration with Social Work England and responsibility for maintaining registration.
14. Significant post qualification experience in dealing with diverse issues.
15. Demonstrable experience of delivering or co-ordinating a quality customer-focussed service to others.
You will also undertake an induction and essential training to ensure safe practices and to ensure that you are equipped to do your role.
