Job Description
We are recruiting for a Commercial Product Manager to support the development of solutions that meet customer requirements across a broad range of applications.
* The Commercial Product Manager will be responsible for being a technical point of contact for customers and channel partners, providing technical expertise and information to all departments within the company.
* This role involves delivering powerful product demonstrations and commercial distributor training, as well as providing sales and marketing support through technical presentations, seminars, workshops, shows and User Group Meetings alongside webinar development and delivery.
* The Commercial Product Manager will assist in the production of technical and commercially relevant marketing materials and ensure continuity of messaging throughout sales, marketing and channels.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and work with the Continuous Product Development team to ensure that all products stay relevant to the changing needs of customers and relevant to the most up-to-date guidance.
* Work closely with sales and technical to ensure that all products are keeping pace with market dynamics and drive Post Market Surveillance discussions and act as a champion for upcoming needs.
* Deliver technical assistance to commercial team for tender submissions and develop commercial skills with guidance and assistance from Commercial Associate Director and Commercial Team.
Travel Requirements: Travel in the UK and potentially globally will be required in this role with considerable overnight stays expected to deliver to customer expectations.
Your Background:
* You should have relevant analytical or clinical laboratory experience (capillary electrophoresis preferred), experience in customer-facing roles, and educated to postgraduate level in life sciences or analytical chemistry or relevant experience.
* Creative and intellectually curious scientists capable of engaging with complex projects whilst being commercially aware and focused on delivery of strong sales revenue are ideal candidates for this role.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
