What you'll do:
Your primary responsibility will be supporting the business through comprehensive financial analysis, including analyzing historical and current financial data, preparing reports, developing automated accounting programs, and establishing cost analysis policies. You will interpret complex data to forecast performance trends and collaborate across departments to improve processes.
* Analyze and interpret financial data to assess the company's financial status.
* Perform trend analysis, forecast future performance, and provide operational insights.
* Prepare data requests for financial and non-financial information, ensuring compliance with group requirements.
* Identify process gaps and work with relevant departments to improve and automate processes.
* Ensure reporting complies with internal audit standards.
* Develop and implement performance reports across manufacturing and assembly sites, recommending improvements.
* Establish policies for cost analysis and advise senior management.
* Create automated accounting tools to enhance productivity.
* Build financial models for planning, budgeting, and forecasting based on complex data sets.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate will have a qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA, with experience managing large datasets and familiarity with SAP Business One being highly desirable. Strong reporting, communication skills, and understanding of GAAP are essential, along with strategic thinking and organizational abilities.
* Chartered Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
* Proficiency in spreadsheets, large datasets, and database management; SAP Business One experience preferred.
