Our Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is protecting people, processes and assets in the most challenging environments. Our strategic focus is on driving growth, leveraging innovation and building capability across our global network towards diverse customer base - end-users, EPCs, integrators, OEMs and distributors. We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator. You will be responsible for the timely shipping of all available orders, with the ability to work to deadlines to meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets. Main duties involve the responsibility for the handling of shipping documentation in relation to the export of manufactured products. The role requires working closely with key stakeholders, including manufacturing and warehouse personnel, customer service, finance and to be involved in direct interaction with customers, handling queries and attending to their specific needs. What you'll do: - To efficiently arrange export collection/delivery of manufactured products to customers - To create Commercial invoices, Packing lists, Country of Origin, Certificate of Conformity docs. - Understanding of Inco Terms and revenue recognition - and ownership of shipment, by staying up to date with current UK legislation. - Creation of invoices with SAP and optimising the order management functions - The tracking of shipments through freight forwarders. - Expedite specific orders and contracts to include the proactive liaison with all internal business functions (production, purchasing, credit control, engineering, technical sales and external sales teams). - Develop relationships at strategic accounts, contractors and key stakeholders. - Effectively liaise with customers regarding shipping requirements and create specific documentation as required i.e. Saber (Saudi Arabia), QCD (Qatar Civil Defense). - When required, participate in new initiatives that will lead to improvement in team performance. - Participate in the annual stock take. - Scanning airway bills/BOL for Eaton compliance. - Arranging customer returns for repair/replacement. Qualifications: - GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above. - 3 years' experience in a shipping or customer service role. Skills: - Proficient use of Microsoft applications - Good organisation skills - process orientated and self-motivating. - Excellent team working skills.
