The Teaching Assistant Job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to work with young people with severe learning difficulties in Bromley. You will provide one-on-one support, helping students engage with their learning and develop independence, literacy and mathematics skills. If you have patience, creativity, and a desire to make a real impact in the lives of these pupils, we would love to hear from you!
The successful Teaching Assistant applicant will be given an exciting opportunity to work as a part of a large special needs school in Bromley where your energy and experience will be valued as you play an important part working each day towards the school's aim to meet the varied needs of its students.

The Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
* Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils.
* Promote pupil's independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
* Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement.
* Support with planning, preparation, and resourcing for lessons.
* Promote, support, and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
* Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school's policy and procedures.
* Organise and manage teaching space and resources to help maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment.
* Support with personal care when needed with other staff members.
