Position: Maintenance Engineer (Day Shift)

Our client, a global leading manufacturing business, is on the hunt for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team!
Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and mechanical issues within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This will ensure production assets operate efficiently, safely, and to the right quality standards to maximize uptime and output productivity.
Other responsibilities include:
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults on production machines, PLCs, and control panels, ensuring downtime is minimal
* Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and machine manuals to repair and improve equipment functionality
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Environmental standards while maintaining accurate maintenance records
* Perform routine maintenance activities on all aspects of production equipment with a focus on electrical and mechanical standards
Experience or Qualifications
* Electro/Mechanical Engineering Qualification Minimum NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, or equivalent
* Proven experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias
* Competent in both electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills with PLC knowledge (desirable)
