Why This Role is Important?
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
MERCHANDISING:
1. Organize backroom product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes
2. Use PDT and MMS Systems to perform daily tasks
3. As directed, manage Exit Strategy and Product Return
4. Expert in assigned areas of product inventory, product placement, and expiry dates
5. Maintain Store Standard pertaining to image and trends in store
6. Ensure product displays are consumer-focused and “shoppable”
RECEIVING:
1. Receive merchandise in accordance with the receiving policies and procedures
2. Maintain a neat and organized backroom according to principles of backroom organization
3. Ensure proper documentation is completed with respect to the receiving and return of goods
4. Support Front Store Manager/Assistant Front Store Manager in maintaining quality and standards
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
1. Maintain a clean image to the customers in accordance with uniform policy and dress code
2. Take initiative to acknowledge and assist customers in the aisles
GENERAL:
1. Comply with all health and safety regulations
2. Comply with all Store Standards
3. Comply with loss prevention policies and procedures
4. Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills
2. Efficiency, organization, and neatness
3. Ability to cope with changing situations on the sales floor
4. Cash responsibilities (if applicable) require accuracy and efficiency in processing customer orders
EXPERIENCE:
1. Some computer and cash register skills
2. Well organized with the ability to keep records
3. Detail-oriented
4. Ability to work independently
5. Self-motivated
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
2. Ability to climb a ladder
