The Role As a Trainee / Apprentice at AmcoGiffen, you will embark on a dynamic learning journey, working towards the successful completion of projects within the communities that we operate in. As part of this Traineeship, you will be enrolled onto a DSA (Drilling & Sawing Association) course for specialist concrete operations and concrete cutting and sawing. Throughout your trainee programme, you will gain practical, on the job experience working in the AmcoGiffen Aviation business unit, specialising in critical infrastructure improvements and maintenance project work, airside at Manchester Airport. Your responsibilities will include: Learning and Developing Practical Skills: Work alongside experienced professionals to acquire hands-on skills in various aspects of construction. Participate in workshops, both on and offsite, to enhance your technical expertise. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations on construction sites. Monitor site safety and contribute to maintaining a secure work environment. Quality Assurance: Assist in construction inspections, ensuring the quality of workmanship. Prepare daily reports for the Construction Management Teams. Client Satisfaction: Contribute to projects that directly impact our clients. Learn to deliver exceptional service and maintain client satisfaction.
