The role holder is responsible for delivering high quality facilities management services, on time, to budget, and to a consistently high standard across 100 clubs, maximizing asset uptime, assessing site condition and making strategic investment recommendations, and providing a best in class business partnering service into Gym Operations.
The Team
The Facilities Team within Central Operations, oversees the daily management of our FM services, ensuring minimum standards are maintained, protecting asset availability, safety, security, and compliance with relevant regulations. The team work to closely manage the performance of facility-related vendors and contractors
The role
• Deliver operational facilities management to a consistent and high standard across a c.100 clubs in line with stakeholder requirements.
• Complete meaningful site visits 4-5 days per week across the allocated estate.
• Accountable for the BAU operational facilities activities across the defined estate in accordance with internal SLA’s, contractual agreements with 3rd party suppliers and to budget.
• Reviewing data including member feedback, insights data, own to-do lists, critical sites, and project plans to identify actions required on a daily basis.
• Responsible for shaping and delivering operational plans around peak trading periods and critical incident management.
• Through rigorous scoping and cost management, drive best value on uplift and quoted works, approving in line with SLA’s and delegated authority. Present approval papers to relevant cost forums as required.
• Provide out of hours FM cover in line with agreed rota.
• Completing sample checks for on boarding new sites and ensure that asset data is fully and accurately collected
• Work closely with the Commercial team and supply chain to manage escalations, supplier performance etc.
• Work closely with the Estates team to resolve any landlord issues.
• Completion of property audits and inspections e.g. Property condition report, Asset validation, Contractor safety and performance audits and using the data to shape recommendations and actions for improvements, investment etc
• Support in delivery of new space/refit, un/planned asset renewal and disposal programmes through a robust hand in, hand out service.
• Provide business partnering services to operational teams e.g. attend meetings, providing FM data, and providing constructive feedback.
• Responsibility for delivering high standards of internal partner relations across the team measured through customer satisfactions feedback and questionnaires.
• Responsible for working with the FM analyst to drive performance improvement through quality feedback and insights.
• Maintaining or reducing monthly energy consumption in clubs through effective OPEX and CAPEX works.
The person
* Previous FM experience in a fast paced environment
* H&S and Risk Management awareness - preferably IOSH qualified
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize a varied workload.
* Experience of managing suppliers and partners at a local level
* Able to effectively challenge and negotiate with contractors.
* Has knowledge of CAPEX and OPEX and can demonstrate excellent budgeting abilities.
* Can effectively build and manage relationships with various stakeholders including RMs, Contractors and the wider FM team.
* Motivates and drives better performance from contractors and Regional Managers.
* Has excellent influencing, negotiation and conflict management skills
* Is an ambassador of the PureGym values.
* Takes ownership for performance and ensures that all targets are met.
* Remains calm while managing multiple projects across a number of sites.
* Displays resilience and is passionate about the role.
