The post holder will be able to demonstrate a passion for Leg Ulcer Management, providing in-depth leg ulcer assessment, and education for patients and their carers. The post holder will have the competencies required to perform at this level and role model the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust's core values, as well as exhibit the behaviours required as part of those values.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy, when they need it most.
Job responsibilities
The post holder will require excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work flexibly across a variety of clinic settings in Exeter, Mid and East Devon.
The post holder will be responsible for:
1. Providing comprehensive wound assessment, prevention and treatment skills around care of leg ulcers
2. Working closely with the Nurse specialists (LLTS) and Advanced Nurse Specialist (LLTS), and other members of the Community Services Division to deliver safe, effective care across Exeter, Mid and East Devon populations.
3. Supporting the Nurse specialists and Advance Nurse Specialist in undertaking research activities and clinical audits in Community Lower Limb Therapy and well Leg service team
