Job Description
* Planning and definition of vehicle requirements: Collaborate with Technical Project Managers to advise and support the planning and specification of vehicles required for each project.
* Coordinate EG vehicle usage: Maximise vehicle utilisation and optimise transport requirements while ensuring compliance with security protocols.
* Understand vehicle concerns raised within the business and ensure vehicles are updated in a timely manner.
* Maintain the vehicle disguise strategy by sourcing and delivering the disguise strategy.
Qualifications / Skills needed
* Familiarity with vehicle road-worthiness and legislative requirements in relevant countries.
* Significant advanced knowledge of design and development, test and measurement, engineering drawings, and software tools.
* Familiarity with the Product Emergence Process (PEP).
* Understanding of financial limits within the area of responsibility.
* Excellent communication skills at various levels across different forums.
* Ability to influence colleagues within your area of responsibility.
* Strong problem-solving skills for cross-functional issues.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and the capability to complete risk assessments.
* Proficiency in German language is preferable.
* The Fleet Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with local Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
Working requirements
* 35 hours per week.
* Fully on-site.
* Working pattern 8am-4pm & 9am-5pm.
