WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:
Responsible for the delivery of the Retail, Conferences, and Events catering. To safely prepare, cook and present the food to the highest standard in line with WSH food standards.
Main responsibilities include:
* Deputise for Chef Manager duties in their absence and assist any other reasonable requests from Chef Manager, Management or colleagues.
* Assist in working as One Team, projecting a willing and helpful attitude to colleagues and clients.
* Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the section, planning, preparing, and presenting food to the expected standards.
* Be client-focused at all times, ensuring that clients receive prompt and efficient service.
* Anticipate client needs and continuously innovate to exceed their expectations.
* Maintain calm under pressure and communicate effectively with the team.
* Assist in stock take and understand food costing and menu planning.
* Maintain clean and tidy kitchen areas.
* Adhere to any rotas/schedules laid down by Management.
* Ensure all Health & Safety and Food Safety policies are adhered to.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Leaving Cert level education or above
* NVQ qualification or equivalent
* Successful progressive background in catering
* Passion for food and customer service
* Flair and innovation with menus and food presentation
* Confident with Health and Safety, including allergen awareness and COSHH. Food Safety and Hygiene certification desirable.
