Hospitality Manager (Care Homes)
Location: North London (On-Site, Multiple Locations)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Overview: We’re working with a leading care provider in North London to recruit an experienced Hospitality Manager to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and domestic services across multiple care homes. If you’re a driven hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional standards, this could be the ideal role for you.
About the Role: As the Hospitality Manager, you’ll lead housekeeping teams across several care homes, ensuring that all services meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, particularly around infection control. You’ll work closely with Home Managers and report directly to senior management, playing a key role in enhancing the resident experience across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage housekeeping and laundry services across multiple care homes in North London, ensuring standards of cleanliness and infection control are consistently high.
2. Conduct regular spot checks and audits to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and provide feedback to teams.
3. Lead and manage domestic staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
4. Oversee procurement of cleaning supplies, PPE, and ensure stock levels are maintained.
5. Ensure laundry equipment is well-maintained and organise repairs as required.
6. Collaborate with Home Managers to resolve any issues or complaints related to hospitality services and improve resident satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
1. At least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within a care home, hotel, or hospitality environment.
2. Strong people management skills, with a proven track record in recruitment, training, and developing teams.
3. Knowledge of infection control best practices and relevant health and safety regulations.
4. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites efficiently.
5. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
