Your role The Health Business Centre (HBC) is a countywide service that provides a central coordination point for all Health and Children’s Centre key performance indicators as well as Health Visiting and School Nursing administration. The HBC will also act as the central point of contact for all children, young people, families, and partner agencies engaging with our service. As the HBC Clinical Manager, you will provide leadership and management for the clinicians and administrative teams based within the HBC, ensuring they deliver high-quality and effective clinical processes as outlined in the HBC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and in accordance with the clinical governance framework. You will provide in-depth analysis of data, undertake specific audits, and support the supervision of the clinical staff, ensuring best practice is adhered to while supporting the development and progress of the HBC over the next year. You will monitor clinical practice, which requires you to have specialist, in-depth clinical and SystmOne knowledge. Your responsibilities Lead and manage your team to develop high-quality practice through supervision, mentorship, and performance development reviews. Apply a strengths-based approach to practice consistent with Signs of Safety (SOS) principles, disciplines, and tools. Lead continuous service improvement and ensure high-quality provision of services in compliance with plans for future service development and in line with national guidance and service specifications. Ensure the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme to all children, young people, and their families, including fathers, starting in the ante-natal period. Ensure staff work in accordance with regulatory and statutory documents, legal frameworks, NICE guidance, and Suffolk County Council policy and procedures. Create and maintain a learning culture by modelling effective practice, building on research, and supporting colleagues to meet the educational and developmental needs of all team members, including students. You will need Qualification as a Health Visitor or School Nurse. NMC registration as a qualified nurse, midwife or allied health professional. Experience of using SystmOne.
