Hillcrest Homes has an exciting opportunity for an Income Advisor to join our team on a part time, permanent basis, working 19 hours per week. The Service Do you want to work in a dynamic, fast paced team, with dedicated and hard-working colleagues? Hillcrest is an innovative and expanding housing association and we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Income Management Team. The Role You will be the first point of contact for tenants wishing to discuss their rent, arrears and other debts, and you will provide advice on arrears and tenancy matters. You will be responsible for managing rent arrears cases, and will work as part of a team to ensure effective debt recovery with the aim of maximising Hillcrest's income.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* A background in debt recovery or welfare benefits advice
* Previous experience of working in a busy, fast paced workplace, dealing with
members of the public
* A relevant professional qualification at Level 7 of the Scottish Credit Qualification Framework
