This role will play a key role in the successful delivery of instructions and projects from a range of clients including commercial properties, offices, retail, industrial and housing providers.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Undertaking a full range of building surveying instructions on a variety of commercial properties, including offices, retail and industrial.
2. Instructions which are typically split about 50:50 between professional work and project work.
3. Undertaking professional work for clients including schedules of dilapidations, schedules of condition, pre-acquisition surveys, party wall awards, defect diagnosis, planned preventative maintenance report and building reinstatement cost assessments.
4. Delivering project work which can typically range from £50k to £5million where the firm performs the role of designer, contract administrator, project manager or an employer’s agent.
5. Assisting with co-ordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required.
6. Adherence to Health & Safety procedures.
7. Responsibility for own continuous professional learning.

Qualifications and Experience
1. 1-2 years Post Qualification Experience
2. Good work ethic - Can work in a team and also on own initiative.
3. Confident outlook and positive attitude.
4. Good time management and organisational skills.
5. Good communication skills and ability to build relationships.
6. Strong verbal and good numerical/report writing skills.
7. Flexible and ability to work under pressure.
