Job Description
West Dunbartonshire Council Roads and Transportation section are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Asset Development (Traffic) professional to lead a team comprising of this post and two Engineering Assistants. The post consists of a varied and challenging workload which reflects the current Scottish Government initiatives, in addition to the statutory requirements provided by the service.
The post holder will have responsibility for the promotion of Traffic Regulation Orders, the installation and review of traffic calming measures and ensuring the efficient operation of traffic signals. Collection and collation of traffic data and development management observations will also play a key aspect of the role. Excellent communication skills will be essential, along with experience of liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
