Warehouse Supervisor
£30k per annum
Monday – Friday / 12pm-8pm (Jan-Oct) / 2pm-10pm (Nov-Dec)

Our client based in the Wrexham area is currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis. You will work with the management team, controlling the Warehouse operations for the site, including H&S, staff management, and providing support to the shopfloor and agency provider, to satisfy the needs of the centre.
Performance Objectives
• Responsible for supporting maximum compliance with H&S throughout the site.
• Responsible for ensuring the operation is supervised and managed efficiently in line with both internal and external KPI’s, including support of shop-floor activities ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Responsible for the daily planning of volumes for pick and intakes ensuring all targets can be met with the resource available.
• Responsible for supporting all stock procedures are being followed, including stock movements, shortages, and queries.
• Responsible for all shift communication between all parties, ensuring all documents and processes are always followed and adhered to.
• Responsible for ensuring processes are in place for effective communication, consultation, and feedback. (Team briefs / weekly meetings).
• Responsible for the supporting of Agency ‘Ramp up’ prior to peak including inductions, training plans and staff requirement.
• Responsible for attending Health & Safety & Operational meetings and support in arranging any necessary required objectives.
• Responsible for planning staff hours, overtime, and timekeeping.
• Coach and develop the staff to ensure that they meet their full potential both personally and professionally including yearly Appraisals and training.
• Control all areas of responsibility.
• Support stock control ensuring the warehouse layout (including all new accounts) are correct and fully operational.
• Support the implementation of all new accounts, monitoring all accounts, management system and stock control.
• Support in planning & controlling all reworks involving stock movements.
• Control all pick queries, shortages, replenishments and address any issues.
• Be fully conversant with all the operational requirements and methodologies within the operation and ensure these requirements are communicated to all relevant personnel.
• Oversee the planning & execution of all daily volumes including all throughput, ensuring all targets will be achievable whilst managing, supporting, and motivating the shift personnel and ensure the daily input & output objectives are achieved.
Person Specification
• Previous experience of running a warehouse.
• The ability to manage people as well as tasks.
• Able to plan ahead, anticipating what needs to be done in the future as well as the present.
• Completing all tasks to a high standard and setting that standard across the team.
• Great communication skills.
• Computer proficient.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive attitude.
• FLT licence and experience.
• Capable of the physical aspects of the job – lifting/packing of heavy products.
• Previous experience training staff members and completing appraisals.
• Previous Health and Safety responsibilities.
• History of organising stock checks.
• Previous experience of completing customs paperwork/understanding the requirements.
