ASL Technical are now working with a leading Automotive manufacturer as they look to expand their Manufacturing Operations team with 2 additional engineers to join them.
Responsibilities of Automotive Manufacturing Engineer
The role will have huge levels of variety, but for various new model programmes, you will oversee:
Vehicle assembly concept
Starting it the virtual environment and transitioning to physical validation & delivery
Process sequencing, documentation, and product traceability methodologies
PFMEA
Hours per Car generation & reporting
Working with Engineering and Operations teams to identify and resolve production bottlenecks
Including running time & motion studies across the plant
Facility layout & utilisation
Experience / Knowledge for the Automotive Manufacturing Engineer
A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience in a similar role
Experience of vehicle assembly processes
End of line vehicle processing / finishing
Specification and procurement of assembly equipment
