About the program
The Youth Support Services team services the Finding Solutions and Adolescent Support Programs, which support parents and young people through a range of creative and flexible intervention strategies. The programs aim to divert young people aged 12-18 away from the statutory system and reduce the need for Child Protection involvement.
Your new role
In addition to holding a caseload of complex cases, you will be responsible for providing formal supervision and mentoring support to other Case Managers within the team. You will work collaboratively with families, carers, schools and other specialist services to ensure that desired client outcomes are achieved. You will also undertake recruitment, training and provide supervision to volunteer lead tenant mentors.

Your skills and experience
You will bring with you:
* Diploma level (or higher) qualification in Community Services or related discipline
* Previous case management experience within the child, youth and family welfare sector
* Demonstrated ability to assess and appropriately respond to risk for children
* Experience in the provision of formal supervision and mentoring support
* An understanding of relevant regulations and legislation including the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
