Moulding Technician Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a full-time Moulding Technician based at our head office in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a thorough, hardworking person to join our growing business. Reporting to the Moulding Manager, this is a full-time and permanent position. The working hours for this position will be working on a 4 on 4 off 12-hour shift pattern. Working 4 days 6am-6pm then four days off followed by 12 hours 6pm-6am and 4 days off, however, you must be flexible and able to occasionally work around the needs of the business. What is the role? To ensure the efficient running of the team and machines, ensuring production and quality targets are met whilst maintaining the housekeeping standards of the business. The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: Giving written and verbal handovers to the other shifts and the wider team. Accurate recording of downtime and scrap through Gemba Ensuring all paper records are up-to-date and accurate Carrying out Tool/material trials as requested Hanging of Tools in machines and connecting all required auxiliaries Efficient starting of production runs Colour/material changes Maintaining optimum production on all machines, by minimising downtime and scrap production Ensuring production targets are met or improved where possible (cycle times) Responding to production/quality issues raised by Audits or team members Maintaining the housekeeping standards of the department Who you are?
