We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Childcare Workers to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children we serve.
Job Description: As a Team Leader at Saturday Club you will play a crucial role in ensuring the welfare and development of the children in our care. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Deputise for the Co-ordinator in the day-to-day management of the club
2. Plan a range of exciting activities.
3. Create a fun and welcoming environment for the children who attend, building positive relationships.
4. Ensure high standards of care and safety, taking a lead with health and safety and safeguarding.
5. Be responsible for medication storage and administration to children who require this as part of their visit.
6. Comply with relevant legislative regulations.
The Ideal Candidate should have: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
7. A NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or a related field (or equivalent) is desirable.
8. Previous experience working in a childcare setting and or with children with disabilities is essential.
9. A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to lead a team and adapt to changing situations.
12. Understanding of the unique challenges and needs of children with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
13. A caring and patient attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
14. A clean driving license (desirable).
