The Role
As an Enterprise Risk Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the organisation's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework is effectively designed, implemented, and maintained. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to enhance risk policies, oversee risk incident reporting, and provide valuable insights through risk MI reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the enterprise risk management framework and ensuring it aligns with industry standards.
Acting as the second-line expert on the organisation's risk system, developing and maintaining its use.
Managing risk policies, frameworks, and ensuring accessibility and compliance.
Leading risk incident reporting and management, including root cause analysis and action tracking.
Delivering risk MI reporting and supporting governance committees with risk insights.
Conducting operational risk assessments and deep-dive reviews to provide assurance on key risks.
Providing oversight of third-party risk management.
Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address risk-related training needs.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Experience in financial services, with a strong understanding of the UK regulatory environment.
A background in enterprise and operational risk management, with experience in risk frameworks and processes.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop effective risk solutions.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
Experience in risk MI reporting and oversight of risk governance processes.
