Learning and Development
1. Attend mandatory training updates as required.
2. Undertake training as necessary in line with the development of the post and as agreed with the line manager as part of the personal development process.
3. Actively participate in job planning and attend a divisional job planning review.
4. Achieve and demonstrate agreed standards of personal and professional development within agreed timescales.
5. Identify own learning needs and jointly plan training requirements with your line manager.
6. Participate in the Trust's appraisal process to discuss how your role will help deliver the best possible care to our patients and help to deliver any changes in service.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Basic medical degree
* MB BS, FRCR or appropriate specialist qualification
* Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
* CCT in clinical oncology or equivalent
* Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the AAC
Desirable criteria
* Higher degree
Clinical Skills & Experience
Essential criteria
* Evidence of training in broad spectrum of clinical oncology tumour sites
* Interest and training suitable for a CNS cancer Clinical oncology post
Knowledge
Desirable criteria
* Breadth of experience in and outside specialty
Organisation Planning
Essential criteria
* Experience and ability to work in multi-professional teams
* Understanding of: NHS / Clinical governance / Resource constraints
Desirable criteria
* Evidence of managerial skills: Achievements / Course attended
Teaching Skills

* Evidence of an interest and commitment to teaching
