Annual salary: up to £31,060.00 Multi Skilled Operative Eastbourne Full Time Permanent Salary up to £31,060.00 per annum, plus, company vehicle & fuel card This contract provides a 24-hour emergency repair service. This post offers the opportunity to participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota, which can potentially boost earnings by approximately £10k per annum, based on one week out of a four-week rota. Participation is optional and not mandatory. About the Role: A Multi Skilled Operative within our Eastbourne branch will support residents with responsive repairs across our portfolio of properties working on a planned route. Part of a local team undertaking high standard Multi Trade repairs and refurbishment activities to housing properties delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards. You will have a certified core trade and complimenting this can deliver additional trade activities in support of completing repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures. Take ownership in undertaking construction, fault finding and maintenance repairs aiming for a first-time completion whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. Key Criteria: Multi-Skilled Experience: in joinery, plumbing, tiling, plastering, and decorating. A relevant qualification or experience in at least three trades. Excellent ability to communicate effectively. Driving Licence All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship. To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
