The company's lead accountant! Responsible for accurate accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and managing the existing finance team.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of management accountants & monthly management pack, for review by the Board & other senior stakeholders in the business
* Preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow budgets and forecasts - both long term and short term, with actual performance measured against.
* Managing the company’s cashflow & overseeing credit control.
* Setting and monitoring CAPEX & project spend.
* Setting and monitoring internal processes and controls.
* Responsible for all statutory matters, such as VAT, Duty and PAYE.
* Working with all stakeholders in the business to achieve operational efficiencies and hit targets.
* Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team to help direct the company strategically.
Qualifications
* Part-qualified accountant (minimum), with experience in running a finance team
* Strong I.T proficiency in Excel.
* Good interpersonal skills, and good business acumen with the ability to make commercial decisions
* Excellent communication, time management, troubleshooting, and organisational skills
* Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
* Excellent attention to detail, and strong analytical skills
* A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Experienced in using Xero software
Salary and other compensation - £50,000 plus depending on experience, plus company bonus. Hours: Full time
