By automating processes and integrating key business systems, you'll enhance cross-platform visibility and improve efficiency. This role is crucial for future-proofing our business through emerging technologies and building scalable solutions to support our growth. Location: Hybrid/On-site (Leeds or UK-wide) Industry: IT/SaaS What You’ll Do Cross-Platform System Integration: Design and maintain integrations between Salesforce, Workday, HubSpot, Sage Intacct, Slack, custom/internal CRMs and other key business systems. Develop and optimise data flows (e.g., lead-to-cash, customer support ticketing) across business platforms. Process Automation & Tooling: Automate workflows using AWS Lambda (for serverless compute), Python scripts, or middleware tools. Streamline manual processes (e.g., data syncing, report generation) between finance (Sage), CRM, collaboration tools (Slack) and other key tools as applicable Incident Management & Support: Troubleshoot integration failures, API errors, or data discrepancies; implement fixes and preventive monitoring. Provide occasional specialised IT support for internal systems (e.g., debugging permissions, resolving data sync issues). Assist with core production product/platform support during critical incidents (e.g., diagnosing API downtime affecting customer-facing tools). Internal Tool Development: Build lightweight internal tools (e.g., dashboards, data validators) to enhance cross-platform visibility and usability. Innovation & Systems Rationalisation: Propose solutions to increase interoperability between core systems (e.g., unifying Salesforce and HubSpot data models). Identify opportunities to rationalise the technology stack (e.g., retiring redundant tools, consolidating APIs). Research and prototype integrations for future systems (e.g., AI/ML tooling, low-code platforms). What You’ll Bring Integration Platforms: Salesforce, HubSpot, Sage Intacct, Slack API. Cloud Services: AWS Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, S3. Automation: Python, PowerShell, Postman. Monitoring: CloudWatch, Datadog, PagerDuty. Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), data warehousing (Redshift, Snowflake). Qualifications Essential: Experience integrating Salesforce, Workday, HubSpot, or Sage Intacct with internal systems via APIs. Proficiency in scripting (e.g. Python, Bash) for automation and data transformation. Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, EventBridge) as part of integration workflows. Knowledge of REST API design, authentication (OAuth, API keys), and error handling. Ability to balance BAU support with strategic innovation initiatives. Advantageous: Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Workday Integration Certified, HubSpot Integration Designer, or AWS Certified Developer. Experience rationalising legacy systems or reducing technical debt.
