Learn more about Stir at https://www.hellostir.com/ Job Description We’re on the hunt for an Account Executive to join our small but passionate agency team to assist in managing existing clients and recent new wins. The role An Account Executive will feed into Senior Account Executives and Account Managers. Having worked previously in a junior communications role in-house or at an agency, our new Account Executive will be able to work independently, able to manage their time and run administration tasks and media sell-ins autonomously, with coaching and guidance from senior team members. Client management: You will build trusted client relationships by showcasing an understanding of their brand challenges and opportunities, and become a key point of contact for day-to-day account activity, handling administration and media requests. You’re an organised ‘doer’, always aware of account status, prepare for client meetings, calls and presentations, as well as a comfortable communicator, able to own the presentation of your account and media updates. You’ll demonstrate a hunger for earned media, take a proactive interest in the news and will actively develop knowledge and understanding of the media, influencer and evolving comms landscape. You should have a strong commitment to delivering to a high standard by driving a media sell-in, in order to hit scope KPIs, creatively developing new angles to ensure cut-through, tracking all media coverage secured, and selling back results in a timely manner to clients with confidence. You’ll be organised, able to handle multiple tasks and manage your workload to deadlines set by team and clients. Account Development: You will ensure you understand and feed into wider account strategy, supporting AMs and SLT to grow each account year-on-year. You’ll demonstrate an understanding of financial processes including budget development and tracking using Stir’s accounting software. You’ll take an active ownership of scope, tracking delivery and spotting opportunities for organic growth. New business: As a motivated creative comms professional, you’ll contribute to new business opportunities and support the wider team in responding to client briefs or RFPs, through research, media or influencer list development, creative ideation and deck development. You’ll act as the gatekeeper for new client onboarding processes and bedding-in. People: You’ll be a collaborative team member, developing trusting relationships with all Stir team members, and will coach Junior Account Executives and/or interns through tasks, ensuring timely delivery to a high quality. This will extend to your working relationships with suppliers and third parties, ensuring timely, accurate finance processes from raising POs to feeding invoices to our accounts department. Creativity: Showcasing a passion for thinking outside the box, you’ll prepare for and attend brainstorms for client projects and new business briefs, and keep up to date with industry news and trends, sharing new ideas and newsjacking opportunities internally and to clients.
