Marketing & Communications Manager – Financial Services
London (4 days office based)
£50K + bonus (£58K OTE)
My client is a leading financial services firm whose expertise spans mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory. They have a strong heritage with a history dating back over two centuries. This role sits within their Corporate Advisory division offering independent expert advice to large and mid-sized corporations and government entities.
The Marketing Communications Specialist will be a key member of a small, integrated team, supporting the business through various marketing initiatives. The role involves assisting in the planning and execution of marketing and communications campaigns and activities to
Key objective:
1. Create, update, and distribute marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, and client mailings.
2. Draft and review content to ensure alignment with company standards and optimal messaging.
3. Manage electronic newsletters and advise teams on best practices for distribution.
4. Collaborate with the communications team to understand and fulfil marketing needs.
5. Develop and submit entries for industry awards, and manage the awards calendar and results.
6. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all materials adhere to brand guidelines and collaborating with the creative services team.
7. Develop internal communications to keep staff informed about marketing activities and campaigns.
8. Assist in managing the company’s online presence through website and intranet content
Key requirements:
9. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a generalist marketing and communications role, preferably within professional services.
10. Familiarity with the financial sector, with previous roles in this field being advantageous.
11. Desire to learn about M&A and financial advisory transactions.
12. Extensive experience in producing marketing and communications materials across various channels.
13. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work flows simultaneously.
14. Experience in managing website and intranet content.
15. Strong understanding of the marketing mix.
16. Degree educated, preferably in business, marketing, or communications.
