A well-established and highly regarded consultancy specialising in Health & Safety and CDM services is seeking multiple CDM Advisors to join their growing team in Newcastle.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to step into or further their careers within the Principal Design and CDM sectors, working on a variety of significant projects.
The CDM Advisor's Role
As a CDM Advisor, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with their duties under the CDM regulations. You will provide expert guidance on design risk management, ensure health and safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle, and deliver the role of Principal Designer on a wide array of projects.
The successful CDM Advisor Responsibilities
1. Advising clients on their obligations under CDM .
2. Leading the design risk management process.
3. Attending project meetings and conducting site visits to ensure compliance.
4. Managing pre-construction information and reviewing construction phase plans.
5. Working closely with designers to influence safe designs.
To be successful in this role, you should have
6. A NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
7. Previous experience working in a CDM or health and safety advisory capacity.
8. Principal Designer experience would be highly beneficial.
9. Strong understanding of CDM regulations.
10. A background in construction, architecture, or engineering.
11. APS membership (desirable but not essential).
