This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Development Representative to join the team to support our ambitious growth plans.
About the role:
The primary purpose of this role is to proactively engage direct-to-market with organisations and contacts that meet Coeo's ideal client profile; focused on net new acquisition, sales-qualified lead generation and brand promotion.
You will act as the conduit between marketing and sales to engage and build trust with prospects to generate sales opportunities, nurturing them until they are ready to be passed to a field seller.
Key responsibilities:
* Prospect target account lists via phone, email and social
* Calling and social selling to cold, warm and hot leads
* Nurture leads with regular contact and information until they are ready for a sales meeting
* Secure and facilitate initial/discovery meetings for sales
* Lead management within CRM
* Recruit delegates to in-person and virtual events and nurture registrants pre & post event
Essential skills required:
* Experience in an IT Services and/or complex, consultative-sales environment
* Proven record of generating leads and opportunities from mid-market and enterprise businesses
* Experience in social selling aligned to campaigns, events and lead generation
* An ability to engage and build rapport with decision makers and technical stakeholders
* Confidence in contacting prospects on the phone and via social media
* Excellent written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated, aspiring and determined to learn the Microsoft data services propositions
