This vacancy is to join our Estates Operations and Maintenance team which includes fully qualified and semi skilled trades colleagues. About the role We are seeking skilled Plumbers to operate within our friendly, supportive and multi-skilled technical team to undertake planned maintenance, installation, alteration and repair work. You will be part of an on-call rota team covering business critical issues out of hours and at weekends, with overtime paid in addition to the call out allowance for attendance on site. Skills, Experience & Qualification needed Craft trade apprentice, trained to City and Guilds Level in the core trade or equivalent qualifications or experience. Full UK Driving licence Current in date domestic gas safe qualification Knowledge of relevant safety regulations & procedures, for example COSHH and risk assessment Demonstrable building services experience obtained within a building services environment and knowledge and ability to implement practical techniques used in relevant work area Extensive experience of health and safety risk management techniques which are applicable to an estates function. Ability to assess non-routine problems by suggesting solutions Flexible approach to workload and hours in order to meet changing needs or circumstances Evidence of upholding our behaviours as detailed within the accompanying person specification.
