Our client is a specialist and leading manufacturing business. An opportunity has arisen for a CNC Miller to join the engineering team.
Reporting into the Workshop Manager. In the milling department, your role will encompass setting up, operating, and running milling centres with the aim of producing components that adhere to the quality standards of the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasked with carrying out programming and editing functions to produce high quality components to drawing specifications.
Setting & operating machines - hands on
Consulting with engineers/machinists to manufacture work-holding fixtures and devices, undertake day to day maintenance of machines and your working area alongside consulting with production control for work requirements.
Will be required to complete Quality Control Plans and other documentation to support our high quality standard
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILS
Apprentice trained in engineering.
Experience with HAAS/Fanuc is ideal.
Ideally 3-axis experience.
Ideally you will have experience working within precision engineering/automotive/aerospace.
Skilled setting, operating and programming CNC machinery.
Able to understand engineering drawings
