AR Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as our Account Receivable Analyst, based at our European Head Office in Gravesend, Kent. Joining us on a full time, permanent basis (Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5.30pm), you will receive a competitive salary.

As our AR Analyst, you will be completing all transactional finance duties for Europe. You will take action & make decisions on customers accounts, ensuring we are compliant to audit requirements.
Responsibilities as our AR Analyst are to:
• Ensuring Sales Ledger is up to date with receipts from customers allocated to their accounts in all currencies ensuring any prompt settlement discounts are accounted for.
• Coordinate the collection of overdue payments from customers – following the credit control process if necessary
• Correspond with customers by telephone and email to chase payment of outstanding invoices
• Preparing and generating Direct Debit collections from customers
• Ensure invoice queries are followed up in a timely manner to avoid overdue debts.
• Weekly meeting calls with respective countries to ensure invoices are paid in accordance with due dates and that overdues are kept up to date
• Generating and sending aged debt reports internally and replying to requests for further information. Assist with accounts payable activities, including vendor master maintenance and control checks.
• Maintain customer master data.
• Assist in customer risk management – this includes process and issuance of credit reports and enabling the setup of new customer limits
• Maintain the credit limits for customers following the internal MDA process
• Monthly reporting for the Credit Insurance Company where applicable
• Support Customers/Sales Managers and Customer Services where necessary.
• Checking held order list daily, gaining authority to release any orders over their credit limit.
• Providing support/cover for the rest of the department as required
Skills required of our AR Analyst:
