Within the Care in the Home division, we support children with complex health needs to live at home with their families.
We'd like you to join us as a Children’s Support Worker at our young clients home in Poole.
Meet the Client:
I am 11yrs old. I have complex care needs and am non verbal. I need compassionate carers who will take time to get to know me, so that you can more easily read my non verbal communication. Additionally, be quick thinking and proactive to keep me safe at night. I particularly like music and can hum you lots of tunes. Mummy says I am an easy boy, getting to know me is key and if you take time to know me, I really am and your time supporting me will be very rewarding.
When you'll be working:
1. Monday nights
2. Waking night: 9pm-7am
3. 1 night a week, but flexibility to cover Tuesday nights when the other team member is on leave
What you'll be doing:
This role is to support a young boy with complex health needs in his family home overnight. This will involve supporting him with his clinical equipment. Full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.
