TARCG is excited to partner with a prestigious aviation company to recruit an experienced B2 Licensed Engineer to join their growing team in Northampton. This location serves as the hub for their heavy maintenance operations, supporting a diverse fleet of VIP and Air Ambulance aircraft, including AW109 and AW169 variants.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the safety, quality, and operational efficiency of the aircraft, ensuring high standards are met across the maintenance department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise B2 maintenance activities and manage teams to ensure tasks are performed safely and effectively.
* Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance tasks in line with industry regulations and standards.
* Perform line maintenance activities and defect rectifications across various aircraft types.
* Lead and promote a culture of safety and quality within the department, ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
* Provide support and guidance to other engineers, contributing to team development and efficiency.
Requirements:
* UK CAA B2 License is essential.
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance is required.
* AW109 and/or AW169 type ratings are preferred, but not essential.
* Strong experience in line maintenance, defect rectification, and supervisory roles.
* A solid understanding of industry safety protocols, procedures, and quality standards.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
