Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Airworthiness Support Specialist to join our team at Carbon60. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft components.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in manufacturing industry, ideally from the Aircraft/MRO environment.
You will be responsible for supporting the repair and overhaul of aircraft components in accordance with company procedures and applicable airworthiness regulations. This will involve working closely with production teams to provide technical support, developing new capabilities within the company, and assisting in the development of new processes.
Key Responsibilities
* To provide technical support to operations, including missing and damage reports, tooling information sheets, equipment work instructions, process specification reviews, and technical reports.
* To assist in technical investigations, either for new product and process capabilities, escapes, or quality investigations, to analyze, recommend, and introduce actions for improvement as necessary.
* To develop new capabilities within the company through identification and provision of correct tooling, equipment, processes, and support training.
* To facilitate the creation and amendment of master task lists on the company control system (SAP), and master pasts list (tree) data, ensuring these are created in accordance with relevant OEM publications.
Requirements
* Degree-qualified (BEng) in Engineering-based disciplines (Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering).
* Higher National Diploma or equivalent, or relevant industry experience, will also be considered.
* Training in Lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Statistical Process Control would be beneficial.
* An additional language (German/French) could be useful.
What We Offer
The salary for this position is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
