Job summary We are seeking an additional Salaried GP to join our established team. The practice currently has 3 partner GPs and 6 salaried GPs (all doing 4-6 clinical sessions). We welcome applications from GPs at all career stages including those newly or shortly to become qualified. Most of our GPs have or are cultivating a special interest and we would expect our new colleague to do the same. About us Moorfield House is a 10,700 pt suburban / semi-rural practice covering Garforth and Rothwell areas. Our patients are generally from less deprived backgrounds, and we have a larger than average proportion of older people. We look after 3 care homes. We pride ourselves on being a friendly practice and taking care of each other. We highly value patient focused, caring GPs with a commitment to teamwork and a collegiate approach. To support our GPs and allow them to build lasting relationships with our patients, we do not run an on-call system and all GPs work on 15 min appointments. Our focus is delivering quality family doctoring. Consequently, we have very high patient satisfaction and maintaining that drives our approach. The practice benefits from excellent reception and back-office teams, 3 PNs, 3 HCAs, in house pharmacist and a very approachable management team. In addition, we are well supported by the LS25/L26 PCN (including Pharmacists & FCPs etc). We have two sites with roughly equal populations approximately 6 miles apart. Garforth is a recently renovated (but long) converted house. Rothwell is a purpose-built health centre. Both are nice places to work, both are 5 mins from the M1 and have easy parking. All our staff work seamlessly across both sites.
