The Regional General Manager (RGM) leads a team of General Managers to ensure the operational, financial, and commercial success of a cluster of residential properties. The RGM will adapt central initiatives with localized strategies to meet and exceed regional goals, driving property performance, tenant satisfaction, and profitability.
The RGM will also manage university partnerships, contribute to national strategies, and support capital planning and project execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Ambassador: Represent the brand with professionalism, attract top talent, and build strong management teams.
Performance Management: Set and oversee team targets related to key metrics (Tenant NPS, Service Score, Occupancy, Revenue, EBIT/NOI margin).
Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute regional strategies for market trends, residential partnerships, pricing, and segmentation.
Sales & Marketing: Lead regional sales and marketing efforts to drive revenue growth and customer engagement.
Operational Excellence: Ensure adherence to operational standards, policies, and continuous improvements.
Team Leadership: Manage recruitment, performance, and personal development, fostering a diverse, inclusive team.
CARE Leadership: Promote CARE principles (Connect, Act, Respect, and Encourage) for a world-class resident and staff experience.
Staffing & Training: Ensure all properties are properly staffed, with well-trained teams capable of delivering high-quality outcomes.
Property Maintenance & Compliance: Oversee property maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety, fire, and mechanical/electrical regulations.
Capital Planning: Develop and manage a five-year capital plan for property maintenance, focusing on budget, quality, and sustainability.
Incident Management: Lead responses to incidents, ensuring resident welfare and safety.
Sustainability Leadership: Implement sustainability strategies to reduce energy, water, and waste, while promoting responsible living.
University Partnerships: Build strong relationships with educational institutions, ensuring success of nomination agreements.
Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, manage cost variances, and implement strategic plans to maximize profitability.
