We are recruiting for a Baby Room Leader to join our new nursery in West London. Position Details: Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a variety of shifts between 7:30am-6pm. Salary: £28,392 - £32,935 dependent on experience. About Us: Established our Northwood branch in July 2019 and expanded twice since then. A Typical Day Includes: Working as part of a team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently. Caring for all children and ensuring their personal and hygiene needs are met daily. Ensuring the children are happy, settled, and content. Observing, assessing, and planning for the childrens individual needs, ensuring their development is continuously monitored and creating opportunities for children to progress. Keeping up to date with legislation in early education and ensuring all paperwork complies with EYFS and Ofsted requirements. Familiarizing yourself with the nursery's policies and procedures and working within these. Leading a team, encouraging and raising practice daily. Delegating tasks to ensure the smooth running of the room. Sharing creative ideas and involving your team in classroom decision-making. Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and securing bonds with the children. What We Ask From You: A full and relevant Childcare qualification at a minimum of Level 3. Previous experience working as a Room Leader is essential. Good ICT skills are essential. Ability to be a positive role model for your team. Effectively lead and manage the staff team in the classrooms. Extensive knowledge of the current EYFS, Ofsted, and welfare requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Passion, motivation, and the ability to work well within a team. Adaptability to a fun and inspiring working environment. A current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate.
