We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our excellent school, working across year 1 and 2. The role will be split between supporting a cohort of children and working individually with one child.

* Has experience working with children.
* Has an understanding of children with additional needs.
* Is able to form positive and supportive relationships with children and parents.
* Has an adaptive, consistent and kind approach when supporting children to do their best.
* Has good standards of written and oral English and Maths skills.
* Uses positive behaviour strategies following our school’s behaviour policy.
* Is energetic, committed and resilient.
* Has a positive attitude, good sense of humour and has a ‘can do’ approach.
* Has the ability to work as a team: can liaise with the class teacher and SENDCO to ensure learning takes place at the appropriate level.
* Can maintain confidentiality and has a high level of professionalism.

The successful candidate must be available to work 08.30-15:15 Monday-Friday (28.75 hrs TA and 2.5 hrs MSA).
