Job summary The Devon Referral Support Service (DRSS) is a dynamic team that works on behalf of GP practices and providers to promote the safe and equitable application of referral pathways, commissioning policies and patient choice. DRSS has two key delivery areas - supporting quality and transparency through its referral management service; and promoting best practice through referral pathway review. The Devon Referral Support Service is an integral part of the wider Delivery directorate and enacts the relevant strategic and operational asks of the directorate. The post holder will be required to deliver an effective and competent level of administrative support to the Reporting Team, aiding the day-to-day running of the Reporting function. Consistently deliver a "client-focused" service which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships. As part of this role, there will be a requirement to work in a matrix and flexible way across multiple areas/teams to support business needs. The objectives of the role will be regularly reviewed to align to organisational priorities. Main duties of the job Provide support to the Reporting/Business Systems team by: Process regular data extracts in accordance with relevant procedures, thereby maintaining the quality and content of data held within the team Refresh regular reports to ensure stakeholders have up-to-date information to aid decision making Maintain DRSS SQL tables resulting in a robust, efficient, secure data warehouse Assist with the routine maintenance and configuration of DRSS systems (e.g. SystmOne, DRSS database) Build and maintain Microsoft Office 365 Forms Effectively manage the generic mailbox by sorting and prioritising all incoming e-mails, distributing as appropriate or responding to requests and queries in a timely manner Contribute to the updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) as necessary Assist in the supervision of the day-to-day running of the service, resolving queries or issues within competencies, escalating to a senior colleague if required Act as first administrative point of contact for the team/directorate, communicating relevant information to stakeholders, referring to others as appropriate Provide cross cover within own team and other teams during annual leave/sickness absences and busy periods Support the Integrated Care System by working together with other administrators within the System to provide an effective network of communication About us NHS Devon Integrated Care System As an Integrated Care System (ICS), we recognise now more than ever that we can only provide the care that people really need by working together.
